The agreement, in plain language.
These terms govern your use of the ImageForge app and this website. We've kept them readable. Using ImageForge means you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using ImageForge, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the site. If you use ImageForge on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
2. The service
ImageForge is a native desktop application that compresses and converts images entirely on your device. There is no cloud processing, no account and no tracking. The website provides information, documentation, a waitlist and a contact form. Features described here are offered as-is and may evolve over time.
3. License
ImageForge is proprietary software owned by Color Vivo Internet, S.L. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the applicable app store terms. The Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit; it unlocks additional features but does not transfer ownership of the software to you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits; not to remove or alter proprietary notices; and not to use ImageForge to process content you have no right to process. You are responsible for keeping backups of your originals — output handling is under your control.
5. Intellectual property
ImageForge, its name, logo, design and underlying engine are the intellectual property of Color Vivo Internet, S.L. and are protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding. The images you process remain entirely yours — we claim no rights over them, and they never leave your device.
6. "As is" — no warranty
ImageForge is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every compression will suit every workflow. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Color Vivo Internet, S.L. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of or damage to data arising from your use of ImageForge — including, for example, loss of an original you chose to overwrite. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Third-party services
Pro purchases are handled by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit, under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Email Routing for the waitlist. These providers operate under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their services. ImageForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies beyond the ordinary use of their platforms.
9. Changes
We may update the app, this website and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. We may also discontinue features or the app itself; where we do, your locally stored files remain yours and on your device.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and, where applicable, the European Union. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts in Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
