We make images lighter — without making it complicated.
ImageForge began with a simple frustration: the tools that were delightful weren't capable, and the tools that were capable weren't delightful. We wanted both.
The drag-drop-done gesture — pioneered by tools we love — is the right idea: drop images, they get smaller, you move on. But the moment you need a modern format, a reusable profile, or precise per-format control, those tools run out of road. And the powerful options often ask you to trade away simplicity, polish, or privacy.
So we built one app that refuses the trade-off. A single shared engine, written in Rust, does the careful work — picking the best tool for every image and never touching quality unless you ask. On top sits a calm, native interface where the power is one click away, never in the way. And because the engine runs entirely on your machine, your images never leave it.
Five principles we won't compromise.
Quality is never degraded unless you explicitly opt in. Safe is the default; lossy is an informed choice.
Drag, drop, done is the spine. Power lives one click away — never in the way of the simple path.
All processing is local. No cloud, no account, no tracking. Your images never leave your machine.
We never destroy an original without clear consent. Output handling is always unambiguous.
A system utility must feel weightless — instant window, snappy drops, satisfying savings.
Precision, forged.
The faceted gem is precision under heat — a raw file refined into something smaller and more valuable. The molten-amber palette is the forge; the clean facets are the engineering. Warm, but exact.
Mac first, everywhere next.

ImageForge is made by Color Vivo Internet, S.L., an independent software company based in Spain. We've spent years building tools for the web and for makers — and ImageForge is what happens when we point that experience at a problem we hit every single day: images that are heavier than they need to be.
Our mission is simple — give people fast, honest, privacy-respecting tools that do one thing extremely well and stay out of the way. No accounts to chase, no data to harvest, no dark patterns. Just software we'd want to use ourselves, sold once and owned for good.
